Article on option generation and e-coaching published Open Access in AI & Society

The article “Why option generation matters for the design of autonomous e-coaching systems” by Bart Kamphorst and Annemarie Kalis has been published in Springer’s AI & Society. In the article it is argued that understanding how people generate options for action – i.e., the actions that people actually consider doing – is important for designing autonomous e-coaching systems that are both effective and respectful of people’s personal autonomy.
